1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing www.michcarpenter.com, booking a session, or using any digital content provided by Mich Carpenter (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services delivered online, in person, or via third-party platforms. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.

2. Services Provided

Mich Carpenter provides spiritual and personal development services, including:

Spiritual Mediumship & Channeling (The Council of 8)
Energy Healing & Intuitive Consultations
Telepathic Communication Facilitation (including services for non-speaking individuals)
Workshops, Events, and Digital Educational Resources
The recording will be emailed to you within 24 hours, it is your responsibility to download the recording within 3 days, as it will be forever deleted on Mich Carpenter’s side.

3. Professional Disclaimer & Nature of Services

All services are provided in a spiritual and intuitive context.

Not a Substitute: Services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice. Mich Carpenter does not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatments.
Subjective Experience: Spiritual work is inherently subjective. Interpretations provided are based on Mich Carpenter’s unique intuitive perspective. We cannot guarantee that a specific spirit or message will manifest during a session.
Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA): We provide services with “reasonable care and skill” as required by NZ law. However, no specific outcomes, “healings,” or predictive accuracy are guaranteed.

4. Telepathic Communication & Vulnerable Persons

Regarding telepathic communication for non-verbal individuals:

Warranty of Authority: By booking a session for a minor (under 18) or a person under legal guardianship (regardless of age), you the person making the booking warrant and represent that you are the legal guardian or have the express legal authority to act on behalf of the individual.
Shift of Responsibility: Mich Carpenter accepts no responsibility for verifying the legal guardianship status of any participant. We rely entirely on the confirmation provided by the person booking the service.
Assumption of Consent: By proceeding with the booking, you acknowledge that you have obtained all necessary consents for the participant to engage in intuitive and telepathic communication services

5. Eligibility & Age Requirements

Clients must be 18 years or older to book, unless you are booking with the consent of a parent or guardian present.
We reserve the right to refuse service if professional boundaries are at risk or if the service is deemed unsuitable for the client’s current mental state.
It is your responsibility to share if you are on any prescribed medications with Mich, prior to your session.

6. Bookings, Time Zones & Payments

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking. Prices are in USD (unless otherwise stated). For NZ-based clients, prices are inclusive of GST.
Time Zones: All times are New Zealand Standard Time (NZST/NZDT). Clients are responsible for correct time conversion. Missed appointments due to time-zone errors are treated as no-shows, Mich gives you 10 minutes within the session, otherwise it is deemed as a no show.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

Cancellation Window: Cancellations made within [Insert Hours, e.g., 48 hours] of the appointment are non-refundable.
No-Shows: No refunds are provided for no-shows or late arrivals, there is a 10 minute time slot within the session.
CGA Remedies: If a service fails a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy. This does not apply if you simply change your mind or if the “failure” is due to factors outside our control (e.g., your internet connection).

8. Privacy & Data Protection (2026 Compliance)

We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 and the 2026 Amendments (IPP 3A).

Full Privacy Policy: Your data is handled according to our [Link to Privacy Policy].
Indirect Collection (IPP 3A): If we collect information about an individual from a third party (e.g., a family member), we will take reasonable steps to ensure that individual or their guardian is notified as required by law.
AI Transparency: We do not use your personal session data to train public AI models. Any AI tools used for transcription are secure and encrypted.
Data Portability: You have the right to access, correct, or request a machine-readable copy of your personal data.

9. Intellectual Property & All Rights Reserved

AI Training Ban: Use of our content for the purpose of training Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Large Language Models (LLMs) is strictly prohibited.
Personal License: Purchasing a session grants you a limited license for personal use only. You may not republish, or sell any materials without explicit written permission.

10. Technical Requirements

The client is responsible for a stable internet connection and working equipment. We are not responsible for technical failures on the client’s end. If a failure occurs on our end, we will offer a reschedule or refund.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Mich Carpenter shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or the interpretation of intuitive information. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
